OTHER INFORMATION
At our clubs we provide an environment that facilitates children’s freely chosen play. To that end, we have a large range of open access materials. The children have access to adult support whenever they chose (for example sewing or cooking).

We plan daily activities, consulting with the children for ideas, and also trying to extend their experiences culturally and awareness of the wider world.
The clubs have access to four rooms that have a wide range of art and crafts, books, dressing up, den-building materials, toys and games and computers.
We provide a choice of Breakfast, tea time snacks and fruit. Drinks are always available (Hi juice squash at snack times, and water for the rest of the day).
Cooking is always a very popular activity and children get a chance to try out new recipes and try new tastes.
Specific dietary requirements such as nut allergies, halal, vegetarian, vegan, kosher and dairy intolerance can all be accommodated.
Wherever possible and especially during holiday club we take the children out on trips. We frequently take advantage of our location to visit St Andrews Park, the city farm and Narroways, as well as offering trips further a field to visit woods, beaches and child friendly attractions in the South West.
We also provide Staff who treat young people with respect and value their individuality and diversity, as well as taking responsibility for their care and safety. Our club members are each assigned to their “buddy” playworker, who is there to support their introduction to and ongoing enjoyment of the clubs that we run. In addition, we also provide light, nutritious meals that give the children the energy to enjoy it all! Please make sure to let us know if your child has any specific dietary requirements so that we can accommodate their needs.
We also know that parents have needs too, so our clubs are there to give you the extra time that you want with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your child is being well looked after - all our regular staff are trained in playwork and police checked and the clubs are OFSTED registered as well. Sparks Inc. is also proud to be a equal opportunities setting with a commitment to anti-bias and anti-discriminatory practice. To view our lastest OFSTED report,
